Dustie Shroud
Some people buy a grinder just for the included shroud. Don’t buy a new one—use the grinder you already have. The 5" Dustie is meant to fit most 4-5” grinders while the 7" Dustie is meant to fit most 7-9” grinders. Whether you own a grinder or need to rent one, the Dustie will do the job for you.
The Dustie captures nearly all dust generated while grinding. Using vacuum suction, the dust and debris are caught, giving you a truly dustless work environment. This saves you and your workers from breathing harmful silica dust while keeping the area dust free, saving time and money in cleanup.
The installation is quick an easy. Slip the shroud head around the grinder collar and tighten one screw. The flex flange design allows a flexible fit to your grinder, whether it is a name brand grinder or lesser known. The Dustie will be able to flex vertically, allowing you to press down on the grinder for full mobility.
The Dustie is a one time use shroud, offered as an economical solution to quick jobs. When you have finished grinding the main portion of your project, the edge of the Dustie can be cut away using scissors or a knife to expose part of the cup wheel. This allows you to grind against walls and complete the job while maintaining dust collection.
